Accounting for Non-Finance Executives is a two-day WSQ Certifiable course which aim to provide learners an overview of the financial knowledge and essentials to assist the managers and executives in their daily activities in apply fundamental financial management knowledge to the business.

Objective

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Overview of the Balance sheet; Balance sheet example
  • Differences between the Balance Sheet and Income statement
  • Overview of the Income Statement; Income Statement example
  • Overview of the Cash Flow Statement; Cash Flow Statement example

Topic 2: Basics of Managerial Accounting

  • What are Managerial Accounting?
  • Product costing
  • Break-Even Analysis

Topic 3: Accounting Issues and Income Taxes

  • Identify Accounting issues
  • Singapore Corporate Tax System
  • Tax deductions and credits
  • Various types of Taxation

Topic 4: Introduction to Accounting Software

  • Xero Accounting Software
  • QuickBooks Accounting Software

Course Duration: 2 days

Who Should Attend: Non-Finance Professional including Admin, Human Resource, Procurement, Marketing and Sales, Project Managers, Heads of Department, Business Heads, GMs, CEO, Entrepreneurs

Methodology: This course will be conducted where quizzes and group work will be used to reinforce learning. Illustrations, questions and real-world examples from the trainer and participants’ experiences will be shared during the course. Case Studies and Accounting Software will be used to facilitate practical learning.

SkillsFuture Credit For Singapore Citizens aged 25 years and above to offset SSG-approved training course fees.

SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced SubsidyProviding higher course fee subsidies to Singaporeans aged 40 and above

Course Fee Funding and Absentee PayrollAvailable for employers who sponsor employee training.

Pre-requisites: Working Adults with GCE O levels, who are professionals, managers, and executives in both accounting and non-accounting roles. Learners possessing other qualifications who do not meet this requirement may be admitted to this course based on the outcome of interview conducted by the trainer.

Attendance requirement: 75% of the course

Course completion requirements: Must pass assessment of the course

FULL TIME COURSE FEE:  $780/-

Registration, material, & refreshment fees @ $50/-

TOTAL fees: $830/-

Students will receive the Accounting For Non-Finance Executives certification,  upon completion of the WSQ Certifiable course (subject to conditions).

                                a) Mar 5 & 6 2026 – 9.30am to 6.30pm

                                b) Apr 18 & 19 2026 (9.30am to 7.30pm (Sat) & 12pm to 7.30pm (Sun))

                                c) May 5 & 6 2026 – 9.30am to 6.30pm

                                d) Jun 20 & 21 026 (9.30am to 7.30pm (Sat) & 12pm to 7.30pm (Sun))

Minimum of 4 pax and status will be updated, one week before the start date.

Refund Policy: Refunds for WSQ (Workforce Skills Qualifications) courses will be considered strictly on a case-by-case basis. All refund requests must be submitted in writing to maria@rajascollege.edu.sg and accompanied by supporting documentation, where applicable.

The decision to grant a refund will be at the sole discretion of the training provider, based on valid justifications and the specific circumstances of each case. Refunds will generally not be approved once the course has commenced, except under exceptional or extenuating circumstances.

Approved refunds, if any, will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe. Administrative fees may apply.
